South Africa cannot continue mourning women, issuing statements, and returning to normal.
We are men speaking to men.
We are not speaking for women.
We are standing with women.
This cannot become normal.
Women continue to experience violence and femicide. Families bury daughters, sisters, mothers and friends.
Each case becomes a headline. South Africans express outrage. Women are once again told to be careful. Then the country moves on.
Kwanele Madoda rejects that cycle. The responsibility to challenge violence cannot be left to women alone.
Men, this conversation is ours too.
When your friend threatens his partner, it is not just “their relationship.”
When your brother abuses a woman, family loyalty cannot mean silence.
When another man ignores consent, laughing it off is a choice.
When abuse happens in front of us, looking away is a choice.
There can be no brotherhood that protects brutality.
Hold each other accountable.This is not men vs women.

We are here to organise men who believe violence, abuse and silence cannot continue. Accountability is not hatred of men.
The question is whether enough men are prepared to challenge harm when they encounter it.
Good men cannot remain spectators.
