Conduct is part of the work.
Participation in Kwanele Madoda carries a responsibility to protect the dignity and safety of others.
Our commitment
We expect everyone engaging with Kwanele Madoda to act with respect, honesty and care. We do not tolerate violence, harassment, discrimination, intimidation, retaliation or conduct that puts another person at risk.
What this requires
- Respect consent, boundaries and confidentiality.
- Challenge harmful conduct without harassment or humiliation.
- Do not use the movement’s name, platforms or spaces to pursue personal power, financial gain or political party interests.
- Do not claim an official role, endorsement or authority that has not been given.
- Protect personal information shared through movement activities.
Raising a concern
If you experience or witness conduct that conflicts with this code, contact enquiries@kwanelemadoda.org with enough detail for the concern to be understood. We will handle information with care and take reasonable steps that are appropriate to the concern.
